Facilities Available

Main Hall

The main hall (9.5 x 14.3 metres) is perfect for events like parties and weddings, seating up to 140 guests. Prices start at £12.50 per hour, with local discounts available. It features a stage and allows indoor bouncy castles.

Meeting Rooms

Our meeting room seats 12, or 15 informally, with free Wi-Fi and stage access. Rates start at £5.50 per hour with discounts for locals. For more details see below

Playing Field

The village green, 2.15 acres, is a space for picnics and events. Rent it for £10 per hour or £250 per day. Hirers must provide barriers for private events.

Play Area

The play area for ages 3-14 features a secure, fenced space for parents to supervise their kids. It’s well-loved by local families and children from nearby schools.

A large and light main hall that can be booked for a variety of events including:

The hall is also available for regular hirers for meetings, baby and youth groups, hobby groups, and sports activities such as yoga and fitness classes.

The main hall is approximately 9.5 x14.3 metres (135m2). It can seat up to 140 people theatre-style (in rows) and 120 people for functions around tables. Maximum capacity is 150 people. We allow any indoor bouncy castle for parties.
The hall has a generous sized, fully-curtained stage together with wings and dressing room behind which is ideal for dramatics and concerts. The stage area is 9.5 x14.3 metres (135m2).

A private bar and modern kitchen are available for hire. The kitchen is suitable for private use. The kitchen equipment includes a microwave, small under counter fridge, kettle, hot-water urn, four-ring electric hob and oven with grill. The oven is not for full food preparation but can be used for re-heating. A serving hatch from the well-equipped kitchen makes the hall ideal for wedding receptions, luncheons, etc.
There is crockery for serving refreshments sufficient for up to 60 people including cups and saucers.
A range of tables are available: these consist of 15 rectangle (1.83m x 0.76m) collapsible tables as well as 7 square (0.76m x 0.76m) tables. There are 140 stacking chairs.
There are ample toilet facilities, including a separate disabled toilet with changing table for babies. The large on site car park has 30 spaces. An emergency defibrillator has been installed just outside the main hall entrance. There is also free superfast Wi-Fi available.

Meeting Room

Separated from the main hall, is 1 meeting room available for hire at the back of the hall. The meeting room seats 12 in total. There is a rectangle table with 8 chairs and a round table with 4 chairs. You can also seat up to 15 people in a more informal setting.

This room is accessed by stairs to the back of the hall and has a floor area of about 80m2. There is also free superfast Wi-Fi available. This room is perfect for meetings, quiet room and hobby groups. There is direct access to the stage, making it an ideal green room for all staged events.

Playing Field

The playing field, or village green as it’s often referred to, is 2.15 acres (80m2). As well as being used by local families for picnics and somewhere for children to run around, it is used each year for car boot sales (normally about 6 a year depending on the weather); an children’ adventure funfair and the Wolverley Carnival.

This field can be hired for private functions or for regular sports activities. The field is available for public use by local residents so it would be the responsibility of the hirer to provide fencing or barriers for a private event. The field is also used for car boot sales, food festivals, fetes and the local carnival.
