Who We Are
Welcome to the Wolverley Memorial Hall.

The Wolverley Memorial Charitable Trust was established in June 2019 as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) following a merger with the former Wolverley Memorial Hall Charity.
The Charitable Trust is responsible for the management of the Wolverley Memorial Hall, its facilities and grounds.
The Charity provides a village hall and recreation facilities, including a children's play area for the benefit of the residents of Wolverley and the surrounding area.
The village hall is a memorial for those from Wolverley who died in the service of their country.
The objectives of The Wolverley Memorial Charitable Trust have not changed since the original 1961 Foundation agreement and can be summarised as:
-
the provision of village hall and recreational facilities*, for the benefit of the residents of Wolverley and
-
to retain the Hall as a memorial for those from Wolverley who died in the service of their country
The main activities in delivering those charitable objects continue to be:
-
the provision of the Hall and grounds for sport, the arts and recreation, and for hire by local residents for functions and parties.
-
the provision of a children’s play area.
-
the use of parts of the grounds for tennis, bowls and the village social club.
-
fundraising for the upkeep and maintenance of the charity’s assets.
*The Charity opened a Community Café in December 2022 to offer a warm, welcoming space serving refreshments for the benefit of Wolverley residents.
